Lisa Jansen

I am a photographic artist based in Green Bay, Wisconsin.  My passion is creating images of all things nature.  Whether it be birds, wildlife, waterfalls, or stars, I am most inspired experiencing and capturing the outdoors.

After taking the photograph, I apply painting techniques and textures to the image.  The outcome is never planned but rather an exercise in making the image look the way the scene made me feel. How I interpret that visually, is what makes my art unique.  

Along with photography, I have fun making pottery, decorating pysanky, writing the next great American novel, finding the next bird on my life list, and snuggling with my rescue dog Ellie.
