Jennifer Frisch, a UWGB Alum, is the artist and owner of Coneflower Creations, a Green Bay, WI small business focused on creating and selling woodburned art. She is a self-taught pyrography artist and began creating burned art with a wood burning kit she found in her parent’s basement.
She enjoys drawing and burning her designs by hand, using nature themes to make unique and customized home decor, functional items and gifts.
Her work has been displayed and sold at the Neville Museum, ArtFest, Christkindlmarket, Weidner Center Gift Shop and Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary in Green Bay and the Art Walks in DePere. She was featured on WFRV Local Five Live, NBC 26 News, WLUK Good Day Wisconsin, and in the Press Times. Jennifer also teaches woodburning classes and workshops at NWTC Artisan and Business Center and privately in the community. Besides pyrography (woodburning), she also enjoys creating ceramics, watercolor painting, and jewelry making. Her greatest artistic influence was her father who dabbled in many types of art throughout his years. Jennifer grew up in Wisconsin Rapids, WI and currently lives in Green Bay with her husband and 2 dogs.
