SAMANTHA SUROWIEC

I come from a long line of not just artists but creators.  Creating is more than what we do, it is who we are.  I can’t say that I’ve had an artistic journey because art is part of my life journey.  I was raised in rural Wisconsin; my mother is primarily a woodworker, but she also did textiles, painting, and folk arts. My grandmother was a watercolorist for her entire life.  I followed in her footsteps and do primarily watercolor, although I have dabbled in nearly everything else.
